At Kids 'R' Kids, we know that one size doesn’t fit all.  Before opening Kids 'R' Kids in 1998, the East Orlando community had only one early childhood center. When we started, we offered only full day pre-school and daycare services.  Soon, we saw the need for more services and by 2000, we made room in the School-Age room for Mom’s Day Out and a traditional 2 & 3 year old half-day program for stay-at-home Moms and Dads and others who did not want to put their children in a full day program. Soon after, it became apparent that a second building would be required to really address this growing community need so the Enrichment Center was added. Now, we have expanded our services into Avalon Park with a new child care center opening in 2009.

Waterford / Eastwood Campus

Our  3 1/2 acre campus is located just south of  Lake Underhill Road on Woodbury between Eastwood and Waterford Lakes. Our parents appreciate the peace of mind that comes with being out of the major traffic and commerce zone as well as the  tranquility of the well-maintained tree-lined property. The facility has over 21,000 square feet, two education buildings, 15 classrooms and 6 large playgrounds. Security cameras, internet viewing and experienced professional staff keep our center safe and secure.

Main Center

In the  Main Center, we offer  full time Infant Toddler care, Early Pre School and Pre-School. The elementary school age programs such as before school, extended day/after-school and holiday camps are also held here.  It’s the heart of our school.

Enrichment Center

Opened in  the Fall of 2003, the Enrichment Center added almost 7,000 square feet, 4 spacious classrooms, one gym and two additional age-appropriate playgrounds. A custom designed walkway and sky-shade overhang connecting the two buildings  help to create an open, campus-like feel to the property. This larger facility enables the teachers to get the children outside as frequently as they want, and we always have extra room for special events and extracurricular activities.  The children and parents enjoy the extra space and a separate drop-off and check-in area with extra  security measures, allowing the children and parents to have some social networking time away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Center.

In the Enrichment Center, we offer traditional 2 and 3 day  preschool classes for children ages two and three.  The Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program is here also. Children in this program are dropped off in the morning and picked up when class is over much like an elementary school car line.  Full Day Pre-Kindergarten is open from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Kindergarten runs from 8:45-2:30 with before school and after school (extended day) available.   

Fast forward to 2009.  The Enrichment Center is home to the largest VPK / Pre-K program in Orange County, having graduated over 500 students  since VPK started in 2005.  The pre-school program, led by our Curriculum Specialist, Pilar Vidal,  remains an integral part of our programming. In 2010, we will graduate our first ever Kindergarten class.  Many of our friends and parents encouraged us to take this next step, and we listened.  Our customers and friends know we don’t like to say “NO!” and with the Enrichment Center, we don’t have to.     

Transportation is available to and from Kids 'R' Kids Waterford - Avalon Park and local elementary schools. Before School and After School transportation is available from Waterford Lakes, Sunrise, Cypress Springs, Camelot, Castle Creek Avalon Park, Timber Lake Elementary.  

Avalon Park

Our newest center is a 2700 square foot state-of-the-art facility located right in the center of Avalon Park. Wait until your kids see our way cool Rock Climbing Wall. They will love it! Many of our programs will allow you to drop your children off at our Orlando child care center in Avalon Park; then they will be transported in our bus to the main child care center where a full host of curriculum and age-appropriate classes are always available. Preschool children will also have the option to stay the day at Avalon Park.
