Since 1998, we`ve graduated nearly 800 pre-kindergarten children! Many of our preschool and childcare children have continued on with us as after school children and summer campers. Over the years, often our parents have requested that we offer a Private Kindergarten class, so their children could continue their early childhood education at Kids `R` Kids Waterford Lakes. They appreciated our enrollment benefits including Parents Night Out and the flexibility of early drop-off and late pick-up, but their primary reason for asking us for Kindergarten was that they felt our curriculum exceeded public school education outcomes. In view of the current public school budget cuts and with the full support of our corporate office, it seemed like the right time for us to add Kindergarten to our quality learning programs. We started our kindergarten program 2009-2010 academic year and look forward to a strong program in 2010-2011 as well.

Our full-service Kindergarten program is taught by an Orange County Public Schools Certified Kindergarten Teacher with a degree in Early Elementary Education. Our teacher has recent experience teaching Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten. Our curriculum follows and exceeds Sunshine State Standards and is comprised of Kids `R` Kids Kindergarten curriculum. The classroom is in the Enrichment Center and the hours are 8:30-2:30. Class size will be limited to 18 children. Toddlerlink internet viewing is included with the tuition, and there will always be access to one of our many playgrounds to guarantee plenty of exercise and socializing time. Transportation to and from Avalon Park and our Private Kindergarten at the Waterford Lakes Center is available with convenient and flexible drop-off and pick-up times.
